Terms of the Archive
Effective 2026
1. The service
The Archive lets you build a public page of objects with stories and optional outbound links, reachable at a unique address containing your chosen username. The service is provided as-is while in active development.
2. Your objects, your rights
You keep all rights to the photographs and words you upload. By publishing an archive you grant us the licence needed to host and display it at your public address. Upload only material you own or may use.
3. Outbound links and sales
The Archive is not a marketplace. Buy buttons redirect to third-party destinations you configure. All transactions, shipping, taxes, and disputes are strictly between you and your buyer on that destination platform.
4. Acceptable use
No unlawful content, no counterfeit goods, no misleading affiliate schemes, no impersonation of other people or brands in usernames. We may reclaim usernames that are squatted, deceptive, or inactive, and remove archives that break these rules.
5. Availability
We aim for the quiet reliability of a good reading room but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Export your stories; keep your original photographs.
6. Changes
These terms may evolve with the product. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date.
